Owl Labs
Owl Labs internship

Owl Journey Map
I became the first product design intern at Owl Labs in 2020. I created this journey map to analyze different aspects of an interviewee’s day and to communicate the opportunity points that Owl has in making Meeting Management Software. I conducted research on employees in order to formulate the best selling points for our clients. I began the process by creating Miro boards and filling out the needs for different client personas. I also used research data provided to us by Chameleon Collective to locate user needs and ultimately come up with a proposal for the type of product we should create next.

Zoom Integration
Our software would work on popular video conferencing applications. I designed a user experience that would facilitate conference management and an interface that would match our official Owl Labs’ colors.

Side Panels
The meeting management tool would include topics, polls, and a goals sections to help keep those on a conference call on track and focused.

Hummingbird Quick Start Guide
I designed these illustrations for the packaging of the new Hummingbird product. The product launched Summer 2021. I made these designs as legible and simple as possible so that the general public would be able to understand the visuals.
The Hummingbird QSG was the last project I worked on before my internship ended. I designed the hummingbird illustration before we had manufactured the physical hummingbird product so it was a bit challenging to visualize and illustrate without a physical prototype.

Research and Concept Illustrations
Miro board screen capture depicting developed detailed wireframes and potential layout. A strong understanding of design thinking principles as well as an application of color theory, typography, and user research was needed to successfully render a textless illustration suitable for all cultures and languages.
